Photo Exhibition on the History of Chinese Americans

In 2021, the Harvard Club of New York, in collaboration with the Lily Li Future Foundation, hosted the "Photo Exhibition on the History of Chinese Americans." The exhibition attracted nearly 100 notable attendees, including UN diplomats, U.S. Congress members, and prominent figures from both Wall Street and the Chinese community. This culturally enriching event featured an extensive array of historical artifacts and photographs, highlighting the significant contributions of Chinese Americans throughout various pivotal periods in American history.

The exhibition traced 236 years of history since 1785, emphasizing the contributions of Chinese Americans to the California Gold Rush, the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad, the Civil War, and other significant historical moments. Each photo series served as a testament to the resilience, innovation, and enduring spirit of Chinese Americans, from their early days during the Gold Rush to their current status as influential leaders in various sectors. The event underscored the importance of recognizing and appreciating the diverse narratives that contribute to the American story.
